The Enander Family Foundation Fund was established at the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado to honor the lives of Hap and Sue Enander (pictured at right).
To improve the lives of children, students, and young adults, and therefore their communities.
To distribute funds to charitable organizations (those that are recognized by the IRS as 501c3 entities) that benefit children, students, and young adults and encourage these populations to develop a strong, solid, and active relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Only charitable organizations recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as public charities and who embrace fundamental Christian beliefs are eligible to be grantees.
Proposed projects or programs must meet one or more of the following criteria:
Promote or support the sharing the faith and saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the winning or revival of personal commitments to Christ.
Sending individuals and groups on domestic or foreign trips for the purpose of evangelizing and humanitarian work to improve economic development, literacy, education, health care, and orphanages. Such missions should be carried out by youth or administer to youth and permit the provision of aid without requiring religious conversion.
Groups and activities that organize youth with the mission of evangelizing, discipling, and teaching about the Bible, God and Jesus.
Children’s Bible School:
Course materials, activities and supplies that directly support curriculum which instructs and disciples youth about the Bible, God and Jesus.
The strongest funding consideration will be given to activities that have one degree or less of separation from the activity and the experience of the child, student, or young adult. The purpose of the Enander Family Foundation Fund is best met when there is a direct and positive impact on young people.
