A small number of our Donor Advised funds solicit and accept requests for support. If you have questions about the process for applying to these funds, please contact our team at applications@NoCoFoundation.org.
The GroupGives Fund serves as the charitable arm of The Group Real Estate. The fund was founded on the belief that every person should have a place to call home, and grants from the fund support organizations and programs that promote this belief. Click here to learn more.

The Community Foundation of Northern
Colorado made more than $5 million in grant and
program distributions during the fiscal year
that ended June 30, 2013. The vast majority
of our grants are made from
Donor Advised and Designated
funds; typically less
than 2% of our annual distributions are
made as part of our annual competitive
grant cycle, which is described below.
The Community Foundation makes grants to 501c3 charitable entities, educational institutions, churches, or municipalities. We do not make grants to individuals or businesses.
To increase your agency's visibility throughout Northern Colorado, we encourage you to share information about your programs and needs with our fund advisors by requesting the opportunity to be featured on our website.Competitive Grant Cycle
Each summer we invite charitable entities that
serve Berthoud, the Estes Valley, or Loveland
residents to submit a grant application for
consideration by our grantmaking committees. (We do
not solicit/accept funding requests that focus on the
Fort Collins community. However, an agency that is
located in Fort Collins may submit a grant
application to the Berthoud or Loveland grantmaking
committees as long as the agency's funding request
meets the criteria.)
The brief application form is usually available the beginning of July. Funding decisions are made by early November.
Report on Funding Received
Agencies that apply for and receive a competitive grant of $2,500 or more are asked to provide us with a report on the use of the grant funding by July 1 of the following year (i.e., approximately 8 months after funding was received.) Reports should be submitted electronically using the online Report Form. Agencies receiving competitive grants of less than $2,500 are not asked to submit a final report.
Please email your inquiry to applications@NoCoFoundation.org. Thank you for all you do for our region!
