A Great Start to a Great Year

January 2017 was another wonderful month in Northern Colorado. The Foundation’s heart has always been and will always be in serving our community. We are thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside generous volunteers on initiatives that continue to transform our community and improve the lives of those who live in this beautiful place.

Annual Celebration of Philanthropy Sponsorship Available

One of our favorite times of the year is when we gather passionate Northern Colorado residents to celebrate philanthropy! The Annual Celebration of Philanthropy is made possible by our generous sponsors.

Registration is now available, and we encourage you to sponsor a table for yourself and seven of your colleagues, staff, or friends.

This incredible evening will honor businesses, nonprofits, and individuals who are transforming our communities through their generosity. We will also enjoy an inspirational keynote speaker, Erik Weihenmayer. Erik was the first blind man in the world to summit the world’s seven tallest peaks, has been featured on Oprah and won awards from ESPN, National Geographic, and others.

Join us May 11 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland by registering as a sponsor, and gather with us as a community to celebrate and encourage greater giving.

Congratulations to The Matthews House and W.O.L.F. on receiving the 2016 Donor Engagement Awards!

There were 159 participating Larimer County nonprofits who participated in Colorado Gives Day in December and together $1,491,344 was raised!  Nonprofits who participated in Colorado Gives Day were eligible to apply to receive a Donor Engagement Award.

This year, we awarded $2,000 Donor Engagement Awards to encourage Nonprofits to grow their donor base and retain current donors. Stay tuned for an interview with a representative from W.O.L.F. and The Matthews House discussing their specific Colorado Gives donor retention strategies.

 New Community Foundation Website!

You may have noticed that the Community Foundation recently unveiled a new website design. One of the primary goals of the redesign project was to make the site responsive to screens of all sizes. We encourage you to take a look and create a new bookmark for www.NoCoFoundation.org

If you are experiencing challenges with the online portal, please contact Roxanne so a member of our Donor Services team can walk through those items with you as quickly as possible. We’re here to be of service, and we hope you’ll call on us at any time.
