acop 2017 erik

On May 11, we gathered with hundreds of friends to celebrate the philanthropic spirit and legacy of Northern Colorado. We honored Bruce and Muriel Hach with the Founders Award and the Houska family with the Community Legacy Award. To view the videos from the event, please visit our Annual Celebration Recap page.

This has been an incredible season for the Community Foundation as we have seen your funds surpass $100 million in assets. We look forward to another year of serving you, and seeing you May 3, 2018 at the next Annual Celebration of Philanthropy!

CSU Class Helps Local Nonprofits Thrive on Social Media

Frances Leary, owner of Wired Flare, worked with CSU juniors and seniors this past semester who were studying Marketing to help them develop and broaden their social media skills to benefit local nonprofits.

The students developed social media plans for five participating nonprofit organizations, and provided recommendations regarding what platforms to use, custom content calendars, advice on what their social media goals and presence should be, and how to grow their audience using social media.

Stay tuned! In an upcoming newsletter we will present the social media strategies in action.
